🏆 Season Zero Updates and Open 1v1 Tournaments 🏆
After analysing a lot of data and reading a lot of great constructive feedback, we're making some tweaks to Season Zero, as well as thinking a lot about further tweaks needed for Season 1. We've also got some 1v1 tournaments planned for this weekend 👀
🏆 Season Zero Heat Updates
Heat 4:
Fibonacci scoring, changed from Pity Point
Top 3 and Top 6 qualifiers, changed from Top 3 and Double Up
Heat 6:
Open eligibility, changed from <250 races
The guide has been updated to reflect these changes: https://guide.zed.run/zed-run-guide/tournaments/zed-run-tournament-seasons/season-zero
Keep the feedback coming in Discord, this is why we run season zero so we can iron out the kinks and keep making improvements based on the feedback and data that we see. Hope you're all enjoying the season!
🏆 Open 1v1 Tournaments
- This weekend (12am UTC, Saturday - 11:59pm UTC Sunday)
- Class 1 and Class 2, $1,000 ZED Token prize pool for each
- Open paid 1v1 races only
- Prize money earned scoring, sum of best 5 races, minimum 1 race to qualify
- Finals will be 4 rounds, 1v1s, winner progresses (16 qualifiers)
- 1200m, 1800m, 2400m finals distances
As mentioned, we will have more events for horses who have run over 250 races, which we're aware don't have a huge place in the new season model, which is geared more towards newer horses. We also have some big planned changes to Sit & Go's coming, so stay tuned 🥳
